In this report, we are including our users’ experience on Fastweb for the first time in a mobile network experience report. The newcomer in this report — Fastweb — wins the 5G Availability and 5G Reach awards. Vodafone continues to win the most national awards – it wins all five available awards outright for overall experience, and both available awards for the consistency of the user experience.

Telekom is again the most awarded operator, with 10 outright and two joint wins — remaining strong in speed, video, consistency and 5G extent categories. However, Vodafone not only manages to claim 5G Voice App Experience award all to itself, after breaking a statistical tie it was in with Telekom — but also it jumps on the winners’ podium for 5G Games Experience joining Telekom, which won the award outright last time. On top of that, Vodafone keeps a firm grip on both the overall Games Experience and Voice App Experience awards. O2 is back on the winners’ list, as it jointly wins Availability with Telekom.

Users in Brazil’s state capitals enjoy 5G Download Speed exceeding 250Mbps
In this new analysis, Opensignal has compared the 5G experience of our smartphone users in Brazil’s 27 capitals — federal capital Brasília and 26 state capitals. While our users across different capitals enjoy average 5G download speeds of over 250Mbps, there are substantial differences between the cities, up to around 150Mbps. We also see large differences in 5G Upload Speed and 5G Games Experience across these 27 capitals.
