Analyzing the consistency of mobile experience across European operator groups
For the first time, Opensignal has analyzed the mobile experience across operator groups in Western and Central Europe, focusing on Consistent Quality (CQ). We have focused on six groups: A1 Group, Deutsche Telekom Group, Orange Group, PPF Group, United Group and Vodafone Group.

Mobile network speeds leaped ahead in 2023, but some markets lag behind
Here we review the progression of mobile network user experience that took place over 2023. By examining the Download Speed Experience during the year-end three-month periods of both 2022 and 2023, we have identified a clear positive trend in network performance across the regions of Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa, and the Asia Pacific, which have exacerbated the experience gap seen between markets that existed before.
Canada struggles in the global 5G race due to insufficient mid-band spectrum
In this new analysis, Opensignal investigates the impact of spectrum bandwidth on the 5G mobile network experience of our Canadian smartphone users, compared to that of users in other OECD markets.

European markets show significant disparity in broadband user experience
In this analysis, Opensignal looks at user experience on broadband networks across 28 European markets. We have focused on three user experience measures — Broadband Download Speed, Broadband Upload Speed and Broadband Consistent Quality, the latter being a measure of how often users’ experience on a network is sufficient to support common applications’ requirements.
