Vodafone users have the best Games Experience in Portugal and MEO is piling on the pressure when it comes to download speeds.

Globally, operators report mobile data use is increasing dramatically but Opensignal’s analytics demonstrate that despite these challenges the mobile experience is holding up well. Opensignal has seen only relatively small changes in users’ 4G Download Speeds in some countries, and none at all in other countries.

Portugal’s operators have made good progress across nearly all of our metrics and all three are now offering 4G availability in excess of 80%, with Vodafone reaching the 90% mark for the first time. Vodafone remains the operator to beat, claiming six out of our seven awards and tying for the remaining award.

In one year mobile Video Experience has significantly improved in 59% of 100 countries analyzed. But the U.S. is lagging behind on mobile video as carriers face a spectrum crunch.
