Opensignal measured country scores for 19 countries and territories in our first Group Video Calling Experience analysis in North America and Latin America. Our users across the Americas experience the best quality of group video calling over mobile networks in Argentina and Uruguay
Benchmarking the 5G Experience – EMEA – June 2021
As more EMEA operators deploy higher speed 5G in more locations we will see the 5G experience improve significantly. The wide differences in 5G experience indicate how much there is still to do. But already, 5G download speeds are considerably faster than 4G, and 5G offers an improved mobile video streaming experience.

Opensignal looked at 21 markets in our first Group Video Calling Experience analysis in the APAC region. Our users experienced the most seamless video conferencing on mobile devices in Japan and Singapore.

Analyzing download speeds in business locations
Opensignal analyzed smartphone users’ average download speed across business locations in Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan and the U.S.
Quantifying the mmWave 5G experience in the US
Opensignal analyzed the U.S. mobile experience on mmWave 5G, a subset of 5G experience which is significantly different to other types of 5G services. We found the fastest average mmWave 5G download speed of 692.9 Mbps using Verizon, which was three times as fast as our tests for AT&T and T-Mobile — 232.7 Mbps and 215.3 Mbps, respectively.
Benchmarking the Global 5G Experience – April 2021
Cities have a significantly better 5G experience than the national 5G results. For example, users in the city of Jeonju in South Korea have a 5G Download Speed of 415.6 Mbps which is 15% faster than South Korea's overall result.
