先日弊社が発表した 日本モバイル・ネットワーク・エクスペリエンス報告書 で、 楽天はアップロード速度エクスペリエンス・アワードを受賞しました。これは新規ネットワーク、特に楽天の自社ネットワークが未だ利用可能ではない地域のユーザーに対して国内のローミング・パートナーであるKDDIにサービスを依存しているネットワークとしては、快挙です。

In our just published Japan Mobile Network Experience Report, Rakuten won the Upload Speed Experience Award. This is an impressive achievement for a new network and especially for one which relies on a national roaming partner, KDDI, to offer its users service in areas where Rakuten’s own network is not yet available.

OpenSignal has identified that December 6th’s mobile network outage hit multiple operators at the same time across the globe.
Analyzing availability data for 2G, 3G and 4G mobile technologies across hundreds of networks, we found three operators where smartphone users experienced a significant and sudden drop in LTE availability: Mobifone in Vietnam; SoftBank in Japan; and O2 in the UK.

The western edge of the Pacific is home to countries that scored among the highest in our video experience rankings. It's also home to some countries that ranked among the lowest.
