Robert Wyrzykowski

Principal Analyst - APAC

Robert is a Principal Analyst covering APAC at Opensignal.  He’s responsible for overseeing insights and reports and developing new data-driven analysis across the region. He also writes reports at global level, digging deeper into the mobile network experience and trends.

Before joining Opensignal, Robert worked as an Insights Analyst at GSMA. In this role, he was responsible for providing analytical and advisory support for key stakeholders, assisting their efforts to expand mobile internet adoption and close mobile internet coverage and usage gaps.

Robert also worked on projects funded by FCDO and the World Bank and contributed to GSMA projects including its Mobile Connectivity Index, Mobile Coverage Maps or the annual State of Mobile Internet Connectivity report. Across all projects, Robert was able to use both qualitative and quantitative research skills. He also worked for GSMA Intelligence where he focused on mobile spectrum-related data analysis and insights.

Prior to this, Robert worked as a telecoms-focused Research Analyst for Global Data (Pyramid Research) and as a Business Analyst for Polish mobile operator, Plus.

Robert speaks five languages and holds a master’s degree in international economics, Global Economy and International Business from Warsaw School of Economics.
