Burhan Kamal is VP of Client Analytics and Insights at Opensignal. Leading client engagement and business development across the Middle East, Africa and India region, his work centres on helping telecom operators connect network experience, subscriber behaviour and competitive intelligence to decisions that drive growth, improve retention and strengthen customer value.

Burhan works with senior leadership teams at Tier-1 and Tier-2 operators, as well as regional regulators, translating Opensignal's analytics across mobile performance, subscriber dynamics and frontline network experience into practical commercial outcomes.

Prior to joining Opensignal in 2025, Burhan served as Director of Product Marketing at Ooredoo Oman, overseeing strategy across mobile, fixed and device portfolios for a consumer product suite generating $500 million in annual revenue. Before that, he held the role of Director of Propositions and Product at Mawarid Media and Communication Group, the parent company of Salam, one of Saudi Arabia's major fixed and mobile operators. There he led digital transformation and product strategy across the group's Saudi operations.

Burhan's telecom career spans more than 25 years and includes leading the go-to-market strategy for Virgin Mobile KSA, senior product and marketing roles at e& (Formerly Etisalat) , and proposition and customer value management work at Vodafone Qatar during its network launch phase. He has worked across prepaid, postpaid, broadband, MVNO, digital channels and loyalty programmes at operators spanning the length of the GCC.

Based in Dubai, Burhan holds a BA in International Business from Richmond, The American International University in London, and a professional qualification in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, as well as a Business Technology and Finance and Assurance courses from the ICAEW.
