A quick look at our latest award table shows that Turkcell remains the dominant operator when it comes to mobile network experience in Turkey — the operator has won four out of seven of our awards outright this time. However, Türk Telekom is emerging as a threat to Turkcell’s dominance — our users on its network observed improvements on six out of seven measures of mobile network experience, while our users on Turkcell and Vodafone saw declines across several measures.
One year on from the first launch of 5G services for smartphone users back in April 2019, Opensignal looks at what’s changed across 100 countries globally on six different measures of the mobile network experience, including upload and download speed, video, voice and games experience, along with the percentage of time that 4G users spent connected to a 4G network (4G Availability).
