Swisscom dominates the awards table as, out of a possible 15 awards, it takes home 10 outright and three shared wins. Other Swiss operators’ award hauls are more modest, as both Salt and Sunrise both collected one outright and two joint wins each.

In this new analysis, Opensignal looked at the mobile network experience in rural and urban areas of Italy and compared it to that in five other European markets — France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Switzerland users get faster speeds and better video on 5G than on wifi
In Opensignal’s newest analysis, we looked at the network experience of our smartphone users in Switzerland, when they connected to 4G, 5G and Wifi. Our research demonstrates that our Swiss users saw much faster download and upload speeds connected to 5G than when using Wifi or 4G. Smartphone users also enjoyed a superior video streaming experience on their mobile phones on 5G, compared to Wifi.
Our users in DACH markets enjoy a superior mobile network experience on 5G than on 4G
In this new analysis, Opensignal looked at our users’ 5G mobile network experience in DACH markets — Austria, Germany and Switzerland — across eight metrics. We observed a substantial 4G to 5G uplift across all three markets in the speed and experiential metrics.
