In our latest look at the Mobile Network Experience report in Germany we can see that Telekom is still dominating our awards table winning five out of seven national awards and tying in one more. But things are not as rosy as they might seem for Telekom.
Opensignal has analyzed our 5G smartphone users' average mobile data consumption in six leading 5G countries and found that in the month of September 2020, on average, they consumed up to 2.7 times more mobile data compared to 4G users.
Opensignal analyzed the German mobile connectivity divide between urban and rural areas by state and by operator. We found that Telekom users observed the highest 4G Availability in rural areas in 11 out of 13 states.
